Filming in Cambodia

The Kingdom of Cambodia has a vast array of plentiful locations ranging from the colonial city of Phnom Penh, the amazing Temples in Angkor Wat at Siem Reap to the miles of un-spoilt beaches on the South Coast of Cambodia. The floating villages along the Tonle Sap take you back to a world that is completely untouched by the modern world.

Our Footprint

Asia Film Fixers local Khmer team is based in the capital Phnom Penh. Additionally, due to its popularity, we have a small team that services the Angkor Park and Siem Reap area. We have an experienced local team with direct links into the relevant government ministries that provide production approvals and permits.

Permits

Cambodia is a very affordable country to film and obtaining permission to film is an easy process with the correct documents and information intact. Filming permissions in Cambodia take 2 weeks to process. With our local teams assistance, the application process and approval process is very efficient. Documentation will often have to be translated, and our local team can provide that support quickly and accurately. Cambodia is NOT a carnet signatory, so our experienced team will provide your production with the necessary advice, paperwork and facilitation for temporary import of production equipment and props.

Recent Production

Asia Film Fixers recent production support roles in Cambodia have included a variety of travel and adventure genre. We have worked on such brands as ‘The Grand Tour’ for Amazon Prime; Dark Tourist for Netflix; and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
